South Square is a collection of 19th-century workers' cottages in Thornton, a historic Yorkshire village known for its Brontë heritage and striking 20-arch viaduct.
Since its renovation as a community arts centre in 1982, South Square Centre has provided a creative hub with ten artist studios, a gallery, community spaces, an archive, fine art framers, a bar, and a café. The centre regularly hosts community events and activities for all ages, including various workshops, and offers community spaces available for hire.
